I love visiting the spaces that creative people work in. In the heart of Murwillumbah, tucked away on an ordinary looking residential street, is Stafford Street Studios, a new creative space containing artists studio's, a meeting space, and a large workshop space. It is such a wonderful place, full of local artworks, mix and match furniture, pretty handmade things and that gorgeous energy that creative spaces seem to generate.
I went along to have breakfast with about 15 local business owners, most of whom have their own creative businesses and also work from home. Sitting around a big table, cup of tea in hand, we chatted about our personal experiences, shared ideas, and worked on our goals for the upcoming year. I left feeling inspired and reassured that I have made the right decision to move to this part of the world. Now, I only need to get started on my goals....
